eBay Feedback

I know I am late to comment on this situation (ISP issues - TalkTalk UK), but what is eBay thinking of?

Sellers no longer have the ability to leave NEGATIVE feedback!?!

"The eBay Feedback system was originally designed to provide a simple, honest, accurate record of the buyer's and seller's online experience to ensure safe and satisfactory trade... It was driven by two factors: transparency and accountability. Over time, we found that the transparency of the existing Feedback system makes some members reluctant to hold others accountable. For example, buyers fear retaliatory Feedback from sellers if they leave a negative."

What about us poor sellers?

I occassionally sell some of my domain name stock on eBay and have encountered "complete tools" who change their minds or will not pay! I am let with a small bill to pay or a dispute to raise. Either way I am out of pocket (in time and/or money).

Let's assume that I spend a whole hour (minimum) trying to resolve an issue with a buyer. Now consider your own hourly rate. I am out by that amount and I want some comeback!

Even if it is only an opportunity to slate the moron who stung me.

Come on eBay. Let's retain the balance and not skew it in favour of these ********!
